Jim Parker and John Jobson have been partners for a very long time and they have accomplished a lot through the years. Jim Parker is the Co-Owner of BHHS- Coastal Real Estate and Broker-in-Charge and The Coastal Insider. In 1983 he entered into the real estate industry in the Myrtle Beach area and hasn’t looked back since. Jim thrives on the opportunity to encourage his team to take chances and dream big. On any day you will most likely see him surrounded with our team, collaborating new and exciting ways to educate and connect our community.

His commitment to hard work and dedication to success began in Camden, SC. There, he worked tediously on his family’s 200-acre farm. Jim has never deterred from hard work, and by age of 15, in addition to working on the family farm, he began working at a recycling center; chopping wood in the wintertime for his family and community; and delivering the Camden Chronicle to local businesses in the area.

From 1978 to 1983, Jim served in the U.S. Air Force at the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base before beginning his real estate career. In 1983, Jim purchased the agency he was working for and turned it into a general brokerage, Parker Realty, Inc. Three years later, Jim started Commercial Landtec Corporation, before partnering with John Jobson in 1993.

For nearly 27 years, Jim and John have developed and transformed countless businesses along the Grand Strand including: BHHS – Coastal Real Estate, Commercial Landtec, Palm Shores Development Corporation, Site Tech Systems, The Coastal Insider, and Coastal Lifestyle Homes, Ltd. Serving the community has been Jim’s life’s work and he’s not done yet!

As Co-owner of BHHS – Coastal Real Estate and The Coastal Insider, John Jobson’s role takes on a higher meaning and a deeper level. Not only is he a valued leader, but a mentor and confidante, assisting us with anything causing us strife, advising us on how to proceed with conflict or just listening.

John Jobson was born in Augusta, Georgia and raised in North Augusta, South Carolina. He came to Myrtle Beach by chance when he was recruited to work for a real estate and golf development company to design, build and sell new communities.

Soon thereafter, John and Jim knew that together they could go far. Since partnering with Jim Parker and 1993, he has focused on commercial land and development projects with Commercial Landtec Corp, a commercial and land brokerage and Palm Shores Development, Corp that operates a large manufactured home community in Garden City.

When John isn’t at work he is spending time with his lovely wife Mary, to whom he has been married for over 45 years! Together they have a beautiful daughter and 4 grandsons. They go as often as they can to visit them in Nashville. When John asks us how we are doing, he is not just asking to be nice, he genuinely cares and wants to know. John is not only a valued leader in our company, but also in our community as a Deacon at Pawleys Island Community Church. His leadership and guidance provide our company with the balance and direction needed to succeed.

I first set foot in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2014.  My husband, Ron, had been visiting for many years on his annual golf pilgrimage with fraternity brothers from Bentley University.

Our first visit was spent in Surfside, South Carolina, about a 10 minute drive from the airport. We played golf, strolled on the beach, ventured out for a day trip in Charleston and visited with friends living in Pawley’s Island.

In September of 2017 we flew in and spent the Labor Day weekend house hunting. On the third day, we found “Our Carolina Home.”  As friends and family came to visit, most remarked how they too wanted to leave the cold, expensive, taxation heavy northeast.

Born in Miami, FL into a family of entrepreneurs; I grew up in the Daytona Beach area. There I met and married my High School sweetheart, Myra. We have two grown children who currently reside in the Myrtle Beach area as well. We’ve been blessed to have recently attained the awesome nicknames of Papaw and Mimi to the most precious grand daughters in the world!

Myra and I, aka “Papaw and Mimi”; are members of Pawleys Island Community Church where we serve on the Prayer Team. We’ve been on Mission trips together and served our communities by being instrumental in the formation of church services and one new church plant. We are also members of the Emmanuel Emmaus Community.

My career path has led me to several aspects of sales and marketing, beginning with the wood turning and other furniture component products that my fathers’ company produced. I am customer focused and confident I can assist my clients in their search for their perfect home as a realtor. I’ve joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Coastal Real Estate as Operations Assistant, assisting the day-to-day operations of the office.

Mark DiDolci

Mark DiDolci is originally from the North Jersey/NYC area. A USAF veteran, he served the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in the 70s and 80s, and spent a total of fifteen years here. 

 
After serving, Mark embarked on a real estate and sales career in New York City. But the warm, sunny days, sandy beaches, and Southern hospitality found in Myrtle Beach never fully left his heart, and he moved back in 2020. 
 
A dedicated sales professional, Mark prides himself on building both personal and professional relationships with people based on trust, honesty, and integrity. His passion is to serve his clients, and always does so with their best interests at the forefront of his mind. 
 
Mark is a proud father of two young men he raised on his own, after losing his wife of twelve happy years in a tragic accident. But he likes to remember something his grandfather from Sicily always told him: “It isn’t a fall, Marco, if you get back up.” And that the three of them did. Jennifer Hamilton

Director of Sales

Jennifer began her career at Real Living in 2018 where she served as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Sales. Honing her skills in real estate she has propelled to the Director of Sales position where she is responsible for managing the sales activities of her agents, identifying key markets, staying on top of emerging trends, and collaborating with the rest of our team to elevate our agents to their peak potential. She firmly believes that in real estate and in life, ‘people don’t care what you know, until they know that you care.’

Jennifer studied biology and neurophysiology at the University of Maryland. From there, she began an illustrious path from Advertising Executive at CBS affiliate to Project Manager at the Department of Energy. Some of Jennifer’s skills include: the ability to motivate and lead a team, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Megan Parker

Marketing Director

Megan has served as a creative team member of our BHHS- Coastal Real Estate company since Day One. When the company was originally formed in 2018, she served as a graphic designer, photographer and social media strategist. Now she leads a marketing team composed of a graphic designer, web developer, social media marketing strategist, digital marketing analyst, research analyst and other creatives who take our company to the next level.

She studied photography at Winthrop University for 3 years, has a degree from Coastal Carolina University, and has traveled both domestically and internationally for 15 years as a fashion and product photographer. Her specialties include commercial photography, videography, social networking and inspiring others to tap into their greatest potential.

Charlie Miller

Director of Operations

As Director of Operations here at BHHS – Coastal Real Estate, it’s Charlie’s job to ensure the proficient operation and general stability of the company. He provides our agents, property managers, and staff with technological support for all aspects of the business; he also ensures the security, safety, health and welfare of all of our personnel, in the office and in the field; and he oversees the daily logistical and administrative operations that allow us to provide our clients with a professional and comprehensive real estate experience.

Charlie was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. After attending college at West Virginia University, he committed six years of his life to the United States Army. Living in Myrtle Beach since 2000, there is nowhere else he’d rather call home.

Jen Assip

Property Manager

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Jen O’Leary has worked at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices – Coastal Real Estate as Executive Office Assistant for over 3 years. She assists in various departments of the company, such as Reception, assisting the agents on numerous tasks and Property Management. Jen also does research on market statistics, data collecting and a lot more.

Having experience in high pressure environments from her previous job as Catering Sales Manager, Jen certainly can take on tasks and deliver fast results. She has been an incredible asset to the BHHS – Coastal Real Estate team in more ways than one. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband John and their dog Brooklyn.

Rachel Ogg

Graphic Designer

Rachel is an award-winning designer who graduated from Winthrop University in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Design. In addition to excelling in their rigorous program, she was a member of several community service organizations and mentored underclassmen. Her senior year, Rachel also had an internship at a boutique design firm called Little Red Bird in Charlotte, where she would assist in various projects in both print and digital media. 

Since joining BHHS-Coastal Real Estate, Rachel has thrived and has proven herself as an integral part of the team. Rachel touches just about every piece of marketing from our company. She creates postcards, newsletters, booklets, social media graphics, Coastal Real Estate, and just about anything else that you see. She works tirelessly to create beautiful pieces and has a passion for transforming abstract thoughts into tangible materials that will assist agents in getting their clients’ homes sold.

Solange Edwards

Web Designer & Developer

Born and raised in the Algarve – Portugal. Living in the south of Portugal where there are a lot of tourists from all over Europe, she was exposed to languages right of the bat making her pursue her passion for languages. She did interpretations in the Local and Regional Courts of Portugal as well as working in her family based Translation Company which was all done online. As a street smart person, she acquired a lot of knowledge and abilities in web developing, web designing as well as Social Media Strategies. She can take a basic website look like the most modern and up to date website rich in SEO and keywords. She is a great team player and brings a great light into the BHHS-Coastal Real Estate Team.

Kamryn Kershaw

Social Media Coordinator

Kamryn is currently studying Economics and Hospitality at Coastal Carolina University. She became an expert in Social Media Marketing as a result of growing up in the digital era, and she now builds Social Media Strategies for businesses to help them develop. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Linkedin are among her favorite social media applications. Her interest is introducing people to new experiences and allowing them to appreciate things that are outside of their normal routine.

Adara Engle

Social Media Coordinator

Adara is currently studying Marketing and Graphic Design at Coastal Carolina University. She is a team player that can lead and collaborate with others while remaining organized and efficient. Growing up in the digital era makes her an expert in Social Media Marketing thus building Social Media Strategies for companies helping them grow their business. She specializes in Social Media apps including: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linkedin. Her passion is bringing people into new experiences and giving them opportunities to appreciate activities outside of their comfort level.

Donna Parker

Executive Assistant

Before coming aboard at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Coastal Real Estate, Donna taught history, geography and social studies at St. James Middle School for 33 years.  She began her teaching career at Winyah Academy in Georgetown, teaching 2nd grade.  Donna received her Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and French grades 4 through 8 from Marshall University.  She has a gifted and talented certification from the state of South Carolina, and is certified in Middle School Education. In October of 2005, Donna received a Master of Education Degree in Educational Technology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  She was named “Horry County VFW Social Studies Teacher of the Year” in 2002.  

 Donna has one daughter, Megan, who is the marketing director and photographer here at BHHS Coastal Real Estate and the publication Coastal Insider/Coastal Real Estate.  She likes to travel, swim, snow-ski, and ride her jet ski along the inlet and waterway.  Mirabelle, 8, and Matilda, 3, are her two feline fur babies.  Her mother and sister live in West Virginia. 

As of June 2021, Donna retired from thirty-five years of teaching.  Yes, she misses teaching, but she is enjoying working with her new coworkers at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Coastal Real Estate, as their executive office assistant. 

Sara Nimmo

Social Media Coordinator

Sara is currently studying business marketing and management at Coastal Carolina University’s Honors College.

Her passion is bringing people into new experiences and giving them opportunities to appreciate activities outside of their comfort level.

Robert Wiltcher

Property Management Assistant

Born on his paternal grandfathers’ birthday, Robert has followed in both his Grandfather and Fathers’ footsteps. His Grandfather served in Law Enforcement in the Miami, Fl area before becoming an Entrepreneur. His father is also in Real Estate. Robert has served his community in Law Enforcement making his way through the ranks to Detective; and now is focusing his efforts in the world of Real Estate. Both career paths are focused on serving the community and finding the best option in each occasion.  

Robert met and married his wife Stephanie in College. Both attend Pawleys Island Community Church serving their communities. They recently became first time parents to a beautiful baby girl and love spending their time with her. 

Robert joined the team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Coastal Real Estate in property management and is looking to be a realtor soon. Helping people in any process is Robert’s main focus.
